Initial support and care for women victims of violence and their children in Turin, Pesaro, and Crotone.

Associazione Cante di Montevecchio ONLUSObjectives
Provide psychological support to women victims of violence to help them overcome trauma.
Offer psychological support services for children, including therapy and counseling programs to help them process and overcome the trauma of domestic violence.
Promote women's economic independence by providing training and pathways to employment.
The project aims to create bridge actions that allow women victims of gender violence who seek help to find initial support and competent listening in accessible, non-stigmatizing spaces. These spaces, already part of their daily lives, will be well-connected to the network of Anti-Violence Centers (CAV) and law enforcement. This approach will help reduce hidden cases and delays in assistance.
The initiative will pilot a replicable intervention model across Italy. It will focus on three territories: Turin, Pesaro, and Crotone/Catanzaro, each representing different levels of welfare and intensity in response systems: high, medium, and low.
Intervention areas include:
- Structured development contexts: workplaces, volunteer service centers, trade unions, schools.
- Proximity locations: pharmacies, hairdressers, gyms, neighborhood shops.
- Care contexts: Anti-Violence Centers (CAV), law enforcement, emergency rooms, pediatricians.
The goal is to develop an ecosystem of sustainable, personalized micro-opportunities through practices rooted in proximity and structured development contexts.
The project aims to reach:
- 90-150 women victims of violence.
- 40-60 children and adolescents.
- 60-90 “sentinel figures” trained to identify and address signs of violence.
- 80 psychologists, educators, and doctors through specialized and accredited training programs.
- 20-30 donors and businesses to support the initiative.
