The Comunità di Sant’Egidio and the Istituto Buddista Soka Gakkai invite all citizens to the event entitled “The right to health is a fundamental human right”, within the program of ‘Testaccio Estate’, tomorrow Thursday 15 June at 8.30 pm at Città dell’Altra Economia in Largo Dino Frisullo in Rome.
You will be welcomed by the sounds and voices of ‘Mish Mash’, a unique band mixing traditional folk music, classical music and multiculturalism.
Admission is free and the event will be hosted by Bruno Crucitti.
Stefano Orlando, representative of the Comunità di Sant’Egidio, and Gianna Iasilli, coordinator of the DREAM health program in Mozambique, will share the long-standing experience and work carried out in Africa, from peace in Mozambique to the launch of the DREAM program and the complex health issues on the continent. Chiara De Paoli and Valerio Baci will represent the Istituto Soka Gakkai and explain its commitment to support various organizations that are active in the social sector. Chiara De Paoli and Valerio Baci, representing the Istituto Soka Gakkai, will share the institution’s commitment alongside various entities working in social work.
Meaningful stories will be read out loud by actors Cecilia Zingaro and Giulio Forges.
Finally, through their tales, we will have the opportunity to learn about the Mish Mash’s various cultural, musical and religious influences.
Their musical performance will close the event.
