Objectives

To promote the training and professional development of young artisans.

Skill development in manual techniques, historical-artistic understanding, knowledge of materials used, and acquisition of technical and technological skills.

The School of Arts and Crafts at the Fabbrica di San Pietro, in partnership with the Fratelli Tutti Foundation, offers a training program aimed at preserving the artisanal traditions tied to St. Peter’s Basilica.

The courses, each lasting six months, include both theoretical and practical sessions totaling 600 hours of training. Selected students will receive free room and board and participate in classes, seminars, educational tours, and extracurricular activities.

Thanks to funding from the Italian Soka Gakkai’s 8×1000 contributions, 10 scholarships will be fully covered for young artisans.
